Musical Description
In a world built for men, women create community. Within the magical walls of a living sanctuary, situated in neither time nor place, Lady and Tilly work tirelessly and secretly to support all women in need as they appear at their door. Imperfect themselves, our protagonists discover what it means to do good in a world of complicated nuance, and to relieve themselves of the burdens placed upon them by time and circumstance.

About the Creators
LAURA PICCININ was born to tell stories. Whether as a dancer/aerialist with Tokyo Disney, a playwright for new Canadian musicals, Every Silver Lining and Apothecary, or her solo shows, LESBIHONEST, The Suicide Key, and GO, or as a comédienne in Footloose with Just for Laughs, Laura’s unstoppable passion in life lies in telling people all sorts of eccentric stories, whether they want to hear them or not.
ALLISON WITHER is a composer/lyricist working in Toronto. She is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Degree Program. She trained as a writer through the CMTWC’s Beginner and Advanced Workshops taught by Leslie Arden. She wrote Every Silver Lining, a musical that won Patrons’ Pick Award at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2019 and BroadwayWorld’s “Best Fringe Festival Production (Musical)” award. The show then went on to participate in the 2020 Next Stage Festival. Allison has released a fully self-written and produced Pop Music Album called, ‘With Her’.
